North Metro Doorknock - Balga: Fighting the Far Right

From One Nation in Secret Harbour, to Neo Nazis in Melbourne and Sydney, to the AfD in Germany, and fascist thugs patrolling the ports in the UK, the far right are going from strength to strength.

To challenge this far right wave we need to rally those that hate Pauline Hanson, that hate One Nation, that hate capitalism, around socialist politics. On their door steps, at protests, in our trade unions, and at elections.

So if you want to be part of building that fight back we are asking you to join the WA Socialists North Metro branch for a massive door knock in Balga at 10AM, Saturday 19 September meeting at Stirling Leisure - Balga. Through conversations on the door step, we want to put out a socialist message for how to fight the far right, to grow our campaign, and to convince people to throw their lot in with the WA Socialists.

If you’re new to door knocking, don’t worry! You’ll be paired up with one of our experienced volunteers who’ll show you the ropes. We’ll also have an all in discussion beforehand to go through some of the key talking points and arguments we want to make at the door.

Stick around afterwards for some food and drinks to chat about the conversations you had on the doors.

What to bring:

• Comfortable shoes

• A car if possible

• Sun screen and weather appropriate gear

• Plenty of water

• Energy and enthusiasm!
